On Saturday December 2, a group of about 20 BSP choir members took part in the "Wake Up with Santa " event at CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario). This event is sponsored by the CHEO Staff Forum for the children of CHEO employees.
The BSP singers, in keeping with the spirit of the party, came dressed in festive pyjamas (BSPJs!) and reindeer headgear, and sang two sets of Christmas carols and songs for parents and kids. The little ones were also entertained by Ollie and Ozzie, marionette friends of one of our singers.
A CHEO staff organizer thanked us as follows:
"Big Soul was amazing, everyone just loved you guys and the energy the choir had (dance moves, puppets and all). Thanks so much for bringing some Christmas spirit on Saturday morning! Everyone was just fantastic!
What a great time! Santa is very lucky to have had such wonderful help!"
